2012 Mock Draft

2012 NFL Mock Draft - by Eagles Mock

updated 04/26/12

1) Colts
Andrew Luck - Quarterback - Stanford
Colts are one lucky franchise to have Andrew Luck taking over for Manning.  Luck will be a superstar in this league.

2) Redskins
Robert Griffin III - Quarterback - Baylor
Griffin has been getting a lot of hype and showed incredible athleticism at the combine. Will be a future star for the Skins.

3) Vikings
Matt Kalil - Offensive Tackle - USC
Kalil is an elite tackle prospect who should/could be an all pro for the next decade.

4) Browns
Trent Richardson - Running Back - Alabama
Richardson could be a great power back for years to come. The beast from Alabama is a powerful runner with good speed and shiftiness.

5) Bucs
Justin Blackmon - Wide Receiver - Oklahoma State
Blackmon is not the fastest receiver but makes a lot of plays and should be a touchdown maker at the next level.

6) Rams
Morris Claiborne - Cornerback - LSU
Claiborne is the best prospect on the board and would be a nice pick here.

7) Jaguars
Dontari Poe - Defensive Tackle - Memphis
Showed incredible athleticism at the combine, for a player his size.

8) Dolphins
Ryan Tannehill - Quaterback - Texas A&M
Rising up draft boards and could go as high as top five.

9) Panthers
Fletcher Cox - Defensive Tackle - Mississippi State
Strong and quick DT with good explosion off the snap and ability to get up the field. Puts pressure on the QB and holds up well against the run.

10) Bills
Riley Reiff - Offensive Tackle - Iowa
Reiff is an outstanding OT prospect. Not a glamorous pick but he's the type of player that helps win ballgames.

11) Chiefs
David DeCastro - Offensive Guard - Stanford
A tenacious interior lineman who will be an instant upgrade for whichever team drafts him.

12) Seahawks
Michael Floyd - Wide Receiver - Notre Dame
Floyd is injury prone but when healthy can take over a game.

13) Cardinals
Quinton Coples - Defensive End - North Carolina
A lot of holes to fill so best player available should be the motto.

Stephon Gilmore - Cornerback - South Carolina

16) Jets
D'Andre Kirkpatrick - Cornerback - Alabama

Rising up draft boards after a great combine.

18)Chargers
Jon Martin - Offensive Tackle - Stanford
Talented OT prospect who should be an all pro in the NFL.

Big, tall and powerful DT who gets good push up the middle and holds his own against the run.

20) Titans
Courtney Upshaw - Linebacker - Alabama

21) Bengals
Lamar Miller - Running Back - Miami
Productive runner who projects as an every down back and a good one at that.

22) Browns*
Andre Branch - Defensive End - Clemson

23) Lions
Zach Brown - Linebacker - North Carolina
A highly athletic and versatile LB who can play sideline to sideline and cover the TE.

24)  Steelers
Alshon Jeffery - Wide Receiver - South Carolina
Jeffrey is a physical specimen who should be a great deep threat in the NFL.

25) Broncos
Luke Kuechly - Linebacker - Boston College
Scoring is good but stopping the opponent from scoring is also admirable. Kuechly is an instinctive player and great tackler.

26) Texans
Rueben Randle - Wide Receiver - LSU

27) Patriots*
Chase Minnefield - Cornerback - Virginia
Oh the Pats.  Secondary is about the only weak spot.

28) Packers
Kendall Wright - Wide Receiver - Baylor
Speed demon with great acceleration and run after the catch ability. Very productive receiver with good hands, good route running and deep threat ability. Not a great combine performance though.

29)Ravens
Jared Crick - Defensive End - Nebraska
Another good D lineman for the Ravens.

30) 49ers
Alfonzo Dennard - Cornerback - Nebraska
Solid cover guy who can play on an island and be a shutdown corner.

31) Patriots
Janoris Jenkins - Cornerback - North Alabama
Great offensive teams need to be able to stop the pass.

32) Giants
Billy Winn - Defense Tackle - Boise State
The rich get richer.
